Role Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Temporary Production Assistant to help ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of our studio operations. This role will be instrumental in supporting the studio’s day-to-day activities, assisting with photo and styling teams, and maintaining a well-organized and efficient studio environment. The ideal candidate is quick to learn and has a keen eye for detail, ensuring that all aspects of production are set up for success.

Role Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Studio Operations Support:
    Assist the studio operations and production teams in preparing for and executing photoshoots. This includes coordinating equipment, props, and materials needed for shoots.
  • Inventory Management:
    Proactively maintain and organize studio inventory, ensuring all items are accounted for and in good condition. This includes production supplies, props, and equipment.
  • Pre-Shoot Preparation:
    Work closely with the production team to set up the studio space, ensuring that all necessary tools and props are available, and that the environment is conducive to a successful shoot.
  • Post-Shoot Clean-Up:
    Assist in the breakdown of the studio after photoshoots, ensuring that everything is returned to its proper place and that the space is cleaned and reset for the following day.
  • Collaboration:
    Work as a liaison between the production and styling teams, ensuring effective communication and smooth workflow on shoot days.
  • Problem Solving:
    Quickly address any logistical issues or last-minute changes, adjusting workflow as needed to keep the production running smoothly.

Role Qualifications

  • Strong organizational skills and an eye for detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to quickly grasp studio processes and adapt to changing needs.
  • Previous experience in a studio, production, or creative environment is a plus, but not required.
  • A proactive, “can-do” attitude and willingness to learn.
