Role Summary

Anthropologie is seeking a dynamic Senior Manager of Marketing Operations to join our team and drive our marketing initiatives forward. The Senior Manager, Marketing Operations is a key leadership role responsible for optimizing and executing marketing processes.  This pivotal role will drive the effectiveness and efficiency of our marketing efforts while managing the overall marketing department’s processes, inclusive of outsized brand campaigns, ensuring alignment with our brand values and business objectives. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in marketing operations, and project management, with a passion for the Anthropologie brand.

Role Responsibilities

  • Lead Marketing Operations Strategy: Develop and refine a comprehensive marketing operations strategy to optimize campaign planning, execution, performance tracking, and operational efficiency across all marketing channels. Ensure alignment across leaders in marketing, creative and merchandising with critical go-to-market (GTM) deadlines to drive campaign success and streamline processes for maximum impact.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Act as a liaison between the marketing department and key teams such as creative, visual, merchandising and buying to ensure seamless alignment of marketing strategies with broader business objectives.
  • Define and Communicate GTM Milestones: Clearly establish and communicate decision rights, objectives, and desired outcomes for go-to-market (GTM) milestone meetings to ensure alignment and accountability.
  • Process Optimization & Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance processes and streamline workflows, driving efficiency and scalability in marketing operations. Champion change management by implementing innovative ways of working across teams to foster continuous improvement.
  • Strategic Thinking: Maintain a big-picture perspective, understanding how milestones interconnect, and proactively propose solutions to optimize outcomes and drive continuous improvement.
  • Oversee In-Store Signage Process: Manage the creation and implementation of in-store signage to ensure a consistent omnichannel experience, aligning with brand messaging and promotional objectives.
  • Reporting & Campaign Hindsights: Partner with teams across the organization to report on marketing campaign performance, lead hindsight meetings, and provide actionable insights that inform strategic decisions and enhance future marketing initiatives.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Manage and mentor a team of marketing operations professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and professional growth.

Role Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in marketing operations or a related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of data-driven decision-making and the ability to derive actionable insights from complex data sets.
  • Exceptional project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
  • Expertise in marketing process optimization, campaign management, and performance tracking.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in retail environments is a plus.
  • Leadership experience managing teams or direct reports.
