Role Summary

Anthropologie is looking for a Multimedia Instructional Content Creator & Designer. The Multimedia Instructional Content Creator & Designer will lead our service & styling teams in translating business needs into engaging and creative training curriculum. This person will design elevated and innovative approaches to learning and communication through video and digital media, interactive graphic design and printed materials that meet the learning needs of the field sales teams. 

Role Responsibilities

  • Partner with service and styling team leadership to determine content and training needs of the business using professional experience to make recommendations on how to convey content.
  • Lead process will all team members on timing and receiving of content and ensure timely rollout.
  • Think creatively to elevate current and future training content to include interactive elements, illustrations, gamification, video or other elements.
  • Work directly with service & styling team members and cross-functional partners to ideate and plan all training and communication needs based on brand initiatives and seasonal priorities.
  • Perform needs assessments and learning strategy development activities that improve individual and organizational selling performance.
  • Scope, write, design and develop instructor-led and digital content, including exercises, tutorials, job aids, assessments, multimedia based assets and printed materials.
  • Work with the Management team to develop and uphold material design standards.
  • Create mini-campaign branding assets (i.e. logos, mockups, etc.) for use in all training workshops or other meeting needs.
  • Use instructional design and adult learning techniques to transfer existing content into new digital storytelling application.
  • Proactively seek out training and education trends; proactively seek out graphic design and multimedia trends.
  • Concept, create and edit training or inspirational videos and/or photoshoots.
  • Act as a leader within the Home Office based team to motivate and inspire internal teams and to move our service & styling content forward.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Role Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in adult education, training or academic teaching.
  • 2+ years of experience in graphic design and development of written training materials, manuals, guide books, job aids, etc.
  • Strong experience with authoring tools and all Adobe Suite programs.
  • Background in planning, scripting, filming, and editing video content, with experience utilizing post-production software (Premier Pro, Final Cut Pro, Camtasia).
  • Strong understanding of the Anthropologie and BHLDN culture, customer and brands.
  • Impeccable sense of visual communication.
  • Innovative self-starter who takes initiative to drive new initiatives, with the ability to remain self-motivated and organized in a fast paced, evolving environment.
