Role Summary

Anthropologie is looking for a candidate to join our analytics team as dedicated Customer Retention support for our North America as well as international business. The right candidate will possess a balance of quantitative rigor and analytical skills alongside a big-picture strategic curiosity and excellent communication skills.  

 

The Analyst will work closely with the Customer and Marketing analytics teams to carry out analyses aimed at improving efficacy of marketing investment, customer acquisition and retention. This person will contribute to an environment of fact-based, data-driven decision making within the Anthro Group family of brands, utilizing URBN’s extensive supply of customer, campaign, product, site, and marketing channel data.  

 

The Analytics team is part of the larger Marketing organization within Anthropologie, consisting of brand and digital marketing, consumer insights, creative, copy, PR and sustainability. We collaborate with senior leadership and cross-team partners to drive Anthropologie Group’s overall business.  

Role Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Paid, Retention and Customer Lifecycle teams to provide context and guidance on and assess current tactics, translate results into easy-to-understand insights for our partners
  • Act as subject matter expert on the analytics team for customer lifecycle models (RFM, Persona, Category affinity and CLV) 
  • Bring a holistic view of omni-channel business performance by in-depth customer database overviews  
  • Point person for audience segmentation maintenance and optimizations. Produce new insights and inform the development of Customer journeys, Marketing and Audience segmentation insights, and new KPIs. 
  • Understanding overlap of subscribers cross-channel and marketing tactics that resonate clearly with each  
  • Clearly and concisely communicate analytical insight through multiple communication streams and presentations. 
  • Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders on the development and implementation of measurement plans and methodologies. 
  • Bring a holistic view of omni-channel business performance by bringing an analytics lens to EU marketing efforts – including digital and brand efforts – and provide actionable recommendations 
  • Continual support to teams within EU business through automated reporting powered by SQL 

Role Qualifications

  • Possess strong analytical capabilities, logical thought processes, and great curiosity to uncover opportunities and solve problems 
  •  1-3 year’s experience with using large scales of data related to Digital sales metrics and Customer behavior, including for Web, App, audience segmentation, and Marketing channels  
  • A minimum of 1-2 years utilizing SQL to execute complex queries in a database environment 
  • Additional proven experience with tools for data visualizations, such as Qlik, Looker Studio, or Tableau  
  • Proven experience with Customer segmentation, cohort analysis, and journey mapping 
  • Excellent presentation and writing skills, including an unparalleled attention to detail 
  • Ability to self start and manage competing priorities in a fast paced innovative organization 
  • Degree or relevant work experience in relevant Analytical fields 
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud a plus
