Role Summary

Anthropologie Living is looking for an Assistant Designer of Home Accessories who will support the design team in the overall design and development of new home products. This includes sketching and specifications for the products. The ideal candidate will have a strong enthusiasm for product development, industrial design, graphic design, and whimsical drawing in 3D.

Role Responsibilities

  • Sketch and develop new designs for a variety of home accessories categories, including candles, vases, holiday gifting, frames, etc.
  • After designing, create technical specifications to ensure the products are manufactured to meet the expectations of the sketches presented.
  • With support of the Senior Design Manager communicate with the product development team to ensure the designs are executed to match the technical specifications.
  • Conduct market research Stay up-to-date on the latest design trends, technologies and customer needs.

Role Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in industrial design or a similar field is required.
  • Between 0-5 years of experience in product design.
  • Experience using design software like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator is essential and Solidworks is nice to have.
  • You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team is a must.
