Role Summary

The Temporary Junior Stylist is responsible for executing styling for e-commerce lifestyle and creative marketing assets as needed. The Junior Stylist reports to the Junior Art Director and works closely with the other stylists, Art Directors, Photographers, and Operations to help ensure all home merchandise is styled and photographed according to the styling and photography guidelines. The Junior Stylist must maintain knowledge of Anthropologie’s growing brand identity as well as current trends within the home and accessories industries.

Role Responsibilities

  • Consistently style inspirational images that support the Anthropologie brand and maintain knowledge of current trends
  • Determine product sets and needs (i.e. type, number, and order of shots) according to product category and boardcard notes and plan day accordingly to reach shot count goals
  • Accurately notate boardcards according to completed shots and place product on appropriate return shelves
  • Keep up to date with evolving styling standards and product priorities, working with Operations Coordinators to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  • Collaborate on testing new strategies for product styling
  • Act as a team player and support overarching studio goals: studio cleaning and organization, assisting teammates, prop and styling supplies and equipment procurement and organization
  • Use feedback and other team members to determine best practices and opportunity areas

Role Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Understanding of Anthropologie, as well as the customer and applicable trends.
  • Experience in a creative field; styling preferred
  • Strong sense of taste, styling, and composition

 

Skills:

  • Must be detail-oriented, creative, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume studio environment
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment through strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines
  • Ability to positively and constructively respond to technical and creative feedback

 

Experience:

  • Experience in a creative field; styling preferred

 

Education:

  • Associates’ Degree in Visual Arts, Visual Merchandising, Fashion, Textiles or related field
