Role Summary

Anthropologie is looking for a Home Operations Assistant. This role will have 3 main responsibilities:

  1. Support Home Outlet inventory flow & allocation
  2. Help organize & execute the Home Design Center floor models and seasonal clearance process. Manage MTO swatch program for both stores & DTC.
  3. Provide analysis for the Furniture Returns & Damage task force, with the goal of improving the overall Return Rate & Damage Rate across Home.

Role Responsibilities

Home Outlet

  • Work closely with store team and Home Operations manager to understand the inventory needs by outlet location
  • Work closely with warehouse partners to organize truckloads to flow inventory smoothly to outlet locations
  • Work closely with Furniture & Décor planning teams to identify opportunities to sell product more profitably through the Outlet vs DTC. Analyze profitability of delivering Furniture & Décor markdown product to customer vs Outlet, propose best option based on findings

Design Centers

  • Help execute seasonal floor sets to 17+ design centers
  • Project manage entire process, working with many cross functional teams (buying, planning, allocation, buying ops, store ops, marketing, transportation, warehouse, outlets) to ensure showrooms are refreshed in an organized and timely fashion
  • Upholstery Swatch management including maintaining vendor relationships, inventory management, and warehouse partnership

Returns/Damages Task Force

  • Analyze Furniture & Décor Damage/Return Rates on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis
    • Buying/Production team to use analysis to help identify the next round of task force styles (approx 10 per round)
    • Attend weekly Damage Task Force meetings, providing adhoc analysis as needed, tracking progress on damage / return rates on selected styles, working closely with Buying, PD, Post Production, Design, IFC partners

Role Qualifications

  • 2-3 years experience in a corporate retail setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both via email and in person
  • Organized and detail oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to prioritize projects with a sense of urgency
  • Ability to adapt to and learn systems quickly
  • Must demonstrate creative problem-solving skills
  • Capability to work both independently and within a team
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel
