Terrain is looking for 5 interns from Delaware Valley University for our Summer internship program!

 

About the Summer Internship Program:

 

Each summer URBN Inc. welcomes candidates from across the country to immerse themselves within various teams across our portfolio of brands and gain hands-on learning experience in the area of business which they choose to pursue. Our paid internship program also offers a summer full of intern focused events including exposure to our senior leadership across the business in small group settings, insight into company initiatives, off-site field trips & for those qualified a chance to interview for a full-time job opportunity. The URBN 2025 Summer Internship Program will run from 6/2 through 8/8 at our Home Office in Philadelphia, PA.  

 

Please note, this internship is only open to current Delaware Valley University Students. 

Role Responsibilities

Role Qualifications

Hospitality & Events

The hospitality and events intern will be involved in all aspects of the business. You will rotate through various departments with the ability to spend more or less time in certain areas based on skillset and areas of interest.  You will play a key role in creating and strengthening the partnership between Terrain and Delaware Valley University. 

 

Customer Service 

The customer service intern contributes to driving sales by naturally engaging the customer on common interests in home décor & gardening. They uphold terrain’s four promises: to welcome, to inspire, to inform, and to appreciate our customer.

 

Design Services

In collaboration with the Design Manager, the Seasonal Installation Artisan creates floral and container design projects in-store, off-site, and in private residential settings. They uphold terrain’s four promises: to welcome, to inspire, to inform and to appreciate our customer.

 

Business Administration

The business administration intern will be a member of the Home Office support team.  This individual will be involved in all areas of support for field teams.  They will rotate through the various support departments including recruiting, training and development, finance and accounting and operations.  Through this rotation, they will be given a broad range of knowledge on business administration.

 

Marketing 

The marketing intern will be a key member of our Corporate Marketing Team.  They will be introduced to all aspects of the storytelling process and will be tasked with contributing from ideation through implementation.  They should be passionate about creating connections, within the organization as well as with our guests.  You will play an intricate role in telling the story of the unique partnership between Terrain and DelVal.

 

Green Goods/Horticulture Buying

Our Horticultural Intern will partner with our Green Goods buying team to revamp and strengthen our current plant signage program, focusing on developing informative messaging about our product to share with our garden customer as well as assisting with improving internal plant classification system.  This position will focus on opening a line of communication between our Greenhouse and Nursery departments and the terrain customer
