Role Summary

URBN is searching for a Payroll Associate to assist in processing biweekly payroll for 15 entities accurately and on schedule. 

Role Responsibilities

  • Assist in processing biweekly payroll for 15 entities accurately and on schedule
  • Assist in processing weekly payroll for 1 entity accurately and on schedule
  • Maintain employee records, ensuring changes are entered correctly and on a timely basis
  • Review and maintain payroll documentation for accuracy
  • Audit reports and make any necessary adjustments
  • Research and resolve questions from employees and managers relative to the processing of payroll information, such as vacation/personal time, direct deposit, pay cards, retroactive pay calculations, tax questions, pay errors, etc
  • Good understanding of payroll (multi-state) and tax withholding laws. Canadian experience is a plus
  • Data Entry of payroll information
  • Process off cycle and final paychecks
  • Work independently with on-going projects and special assignments
  • Assist with year end processes, including W2s and T4s

Role Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of high-volume payroll experience required
  • High school diploma required
  • Excellent customer service, communication and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a high volume, team environment
  • Ability to work independently in a time sensitive environment
  • Must possess sound decision-making skills
  • Familiarity with UKG Pro software highly desired
  • Ability to process basic functions (pivot tables, vlookups) and formulas in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail required
