Role Summary

Anthropologie is looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Location Planner who will optimize store sales and productivity through analysis and management of assortment, choice count, and density by store.

Role Responsibilities

Store Productivity

  • Optimize $/Sqft by store by product category
  • Analyze style count productivity and provide recommendations to drive improvement
  • Work with Allocation on prioritizing actions based on Store opportunities to improve weeks of supply, markdown rates and 4-wall profitability
  • Visit stores, both in person and virtually, to understand location specific opportunities
  • Create shop plans by location and report on performance 

Assortment Architecture

  • Manage shop choice counts and work closely with allocation and merchant teams on maintaining choice count goals
  • Partner with planning and allocation on proactively forecasting choice counts by store by category
  • Communicate changes to shop matrix by store to cross functional teams
  • Collaborate with Visual team, Store Operations, Buying, and Allocation on new shop footprint, timing, fixture delivery, store communication, choice counts, and signage.
  • Communicate with Regional Store Leaders on assortment opportunities by store
  • Provide support and attend product finalization meetings to ensure style count objectives by store group and cluster are achieved

Analysis

  • Create reporting to analyze and manage assortments across store groups and shops
  • Analyze store cluster performance, recommend changes to improve sales and productivity, and incorporate into future assortment plans
  • Review size selling performance by category and location to ensure proper sales to inventory relationships
  • Monitor pick, pack, ship and sending DTC returns back to our fulfillment centers by location
  • New Store Openings
  • Align with store and merchant teams on assortment architecture for all new store openings
  • Set up store plans and choice count roadmap for allocation team and monitor progress to ensure opening targets are achieved.
  • Track performance and recommend assortment changes after opening to drive sales and support store needs.

Role Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills with experience in allocation arena preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and have a strong vocal presence in meetings to share store insights and ideas to cross functional team
  • Organizational skills necessary to manage multiple tasks and projects.
  • Develop partnerships with leads in stores, supply chain, buying, planning, and visual.
  • Entrepreneurial spirited and ability to work independently
  • Excellent Excel skills required; Microstrategy experience a plus.
