Role Summary

Nuuly is seeking a Strategy & Insights Analyst who will be expected to drive Nuuly’s strategic growth by supporting in identifying and evaluating new opportunities and expanding the ongoing insights program at Nuuly by  collecting and communicating learnings about our customers. This role works cross functionally across the organization and the workload requires responding quickly to  new focus areas based on brand needs. Candidate must be strategic, organized, analytical, and comfortable with ambiguity to be successful in this role. 

Role Responsibilities

  • Contribute identifying and evaluating new growth opportunities through the ideation, design, and execution of ad-hoc research plans and synthesizing insights into actionable strategic recommendations
    • Partner cross-functionally with various teams like Marketing, Finance, User Experience, Buying, and Merchandising to identify research opportunities
    • Draft, program, and manage distribution of proprietary surveys in Qualtrics
    • Support facilitation of qualitative research (e.g., focus groups and interviews)
  • Track relevant industry trends and secondary research 
    • Clearly document and present insights, research findings, and recommendations
  •  Show an understanding of Nuuly’s brand and business to effectively work across creative, finance, operations, marketing, and external partners

Role Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics or related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years of work experience in strategy, business development, corporate strategic planning,  management consulting, or related fields
  • Industry experience in retail, consumer products, apparel or other consumer-focused industries is a plus
  • Excellent researching, problem-solving and analytical skills, and sound business judgment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to be personable yet persistent.
  • Excellent organizational skills inclusive of building timelines and able to work on a variety of projects at one time in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with an ability to adjust style for different audiences from peers to executives
  • Intellectual curiosity and a passion for a range of topics within business
  • Results-driven, solution-oriented, flexible, self-driving, and must have the ability to change course quickly
  • Confidence to enforce deadlines in a tactful manner across multiple departments
  • Knack for creating structure to ambiguity
