Role Summary

Menus & Venues is looking for an intern who will be a key member of our Corporate Marketing Team.  They will be introduced to all aspects of the storytelling process and will be tasked with contributing creative campaigns and promotions from ideation through implementation.  They should be passionate new and creative graphic design tools, processes, and learning about all of our brands. You will play an intricate role in content creation and the deliverables needed to support our business. 

 

About the Summer Internship Program:

 

Each summer URBN Inc. welcomes candidates from across the country to immerse themselves within various teams across our portfolio of brands and gain hands-on learning experience in the area of business which they choose to pursue. Our paid internship program also offers a summer full of intern focused events including exposure to our senior leadership across the business in small group settings, insight into company initiatives, off-site field trips & for those qualified a chance to interview for a full-time job opportunity. The URBN 2025 Summer Internship Program will run from 6/2 through 8/8 at our Home Office in Philadelphia, PA.  

 

Summer Internship Program Application Process:

    

  • Apply to one (1) internship posting that best suits your interest & skills.  If there is a project component in the application (see below within role qualifications), it is required that you submit this to be considered for a position.  This is due at the time of your application submission.

  

  1. Complete Video Interview: Candidates selected will receive an email with a link to complete a video Interview. You will have 2 days to complete this portion of the application once the email is received.   

  

  1. Interviews will be scheduled with our internal teams, continuing on a rolling basis.    

  

Applications will close at 5:00pm EST on November 4th 2024. 

Role Responsibilities

Help communicate and build design brand guidelines

Photo database management/photo selects/editing photos

Email Content creation for multiple brands email marketing

Review and help consolidate internal and client facing documents

On-site photo shoot assistance and creative direction

Illustration design

Design Social Media Graphics for paid advertising outlets

Design Social Media Graphics for third party platforms used for restaurants

Support in menu design for seasonal menus including printing and production

Role Qualifications

Enjoy and thrive working in an entrepreneurial environment

Microsoft Office literacy including Excel, Word and PowerPoint, Adobe Suite

Extremely organized with an attention to detail

Preferred Requirements

Fan of our brands: terrain café, terrain events, Pizzeria Vetri, Amis Trattoria, Gatehouse  

Project Requirement: 

In addition to your application and resume, to be considered for this role please submit a Design Project (8.5 X 11 PDF format is preferred). Once you complete your project, please upload it to the additional documents section in the application process. 

  • Create a design (site layout, store signage, set of posters, animated webpage, suite of branding or marketing materials, etc.) that demonstrates your creativity and understanding of the brand culture, voice & aesthetic.
  • Explain how/why this idea fits in with our brand, and how it would function. How would you help us create a stronger visual and conceptual relationship between all the different channels of our brand?
